HKS EVC install, quick Q's
HKS EVC install, quick Q's
i'm in the process of installing a HKS EVC in to my '04 STI
just some quick question before i slap everything in,
i need to find:
an uninterupted intake manifold pressure source after the throttle body (connect to Port B), would this be the vacum line coming off of the stock BOV,
also the manual says to connect to the compressor housing discharge side (connect to Port I) and to the wastegate actuator (connect to Port O),
as it is stock, these two are conected and are T'ed into another vacum line
does this mean:
A: connect both Port I & O into this other vacum line
B: connect Port I to the compressor housing, & connect Port O to wastegate actuator on seperate lines
if the answer is B then what do i do with the existing vacum lines, should i disconnect it from the wastegate and plug that tail off and just connect Port I in to the existing vacum lines, or do i completely take off the existing vacum lines there and just run the lines not splicing into anything
i'm thinking that i should plug off the wastegate side and splice into the compressor line
thanks
oh, yeah, where is the grommet in the fire wall so that i can push the wires through
