I need help is there anyone here that can tell me what adjustments need to be made in order for an hks blowoff valve that came off a 05 sti be able to fit on an 06 sti. On the hks web site it says that the model number is the same but it seems that the fuel rails on the 06 stick out more preventing the valve from fitting properly.

 

if its the hks ssqv it sould fit fine. ihave one on my 06.

 

If your facing the front of the is the adjustment screw to the left or right on your 06

 

railed_out_wrx, how do you like the BOV? Any problems as far as running rich/lean or any CEL's? Let me know, I'm interested in getting the HKS SSQV valve. That valve has the best sound if you ask me.

 

well first there was only one way it would bolt on, with the vent to the left.

second, i have had no probs with it. i hear people that have probs but then i hear lots of 06 owners that have no probs. i think that it will run ok with an 06

 

i have one on my 03 wrx and it runs great i love it.

I have an 06 sti stock with the bov and works great with no problem. But I have a question.. Anybody here bought the Bypass valve springs? HKS says that depending the color depends the sound.. but I dont know what sound makes the red one or the white one or the yellow.
