Helix V3 downpipe

I just put the Helix V3 downpipe on with the Helix cat-back. I am running stage 2 on the Cobb AP and all I can say is wow. The car sounds sick and its so much more responsive.
Has anyone else gone with this setup on an 06 WRX TR?

Power gain - hell yes
Sound - at low idle its very similar but when you get on it its gets loud; it will make a car alarm chirp just driving by at low idle because the low bass it produces
Cats - no

I have to be careful because the difference between a cat-back and stage 1 to a turbo-back and stage 2 is very very noticable. I also put on springs, a rear sway bar, endlinks, and a rear strut bar so the handling is very much improved.

I think it was 450 for the catback and about 190 for the downpipe. Plus installation so overall about 750.

Hey, so the V3 cost you 190$ - not bad at all. Ok, so fitting wasnt an issue, and you arent getting any of the boost creep issues w/ your car so far? And you have been WOT? I was going to get my wg ported but if you havent hit any problems yet..I drive an 06 TR as well, and so far I have a borla hush and I am getting an AP in a couple weeks.

I just put a boost guage on and its boosting around 16-17 max and steady around 15. I am going to hook up the Cobb AP and see what that is reading.
Sorry to be noob, but what is WOT?

I talked with a few shops and they all said that with the stock turbo you wont need the external wastegate. It would be sick to have it though. I cant wait for the up-pipe to finally come out.

wot, wide open throttle, like mashing it lol. Do you have aim? You seem like an active 06 TR mod'er that would be good to keep in contact with . Our mod paths seem similar.

I am going to get unlazy and get some sound clips. I think I can get some good ones with my camera.

I realized what WOT meant after I posted. I have opened it up a few times and it gets pretty loud. I could also feel a big difference in power also.
