Forced performance green turbo

just looking for a little input. I have a 04 sti with cobb intake, exhaust and accessport. Looking at gettin green turbo, perrin fmic, and 750-850cc injectors, fuel pump, etc. Just curious if anyone has this setup? Is 850cc overkill? Any other recomendations?

I have a friend running this turbo w/ 900cc's but thats because he planned on going bigger later, 850's are a good investment

looks like this is going to be the set up i am going to purchase. Rumor has it that i should be able to hit 330-350 whp on pump gas. May add meth injection, but i have been informed i dont want much more hp with stock internals. I will let you guys know how it turns out.

7cm^2 housing should give you faster spool and the 8cm^2 housing should give you better peak numbers

ya I wouldent do much more than that with stock internals, you dont want a blown engine after puting all that money into her unless your planning to go straight cosworth.

now i am starting to think the green turbo would be overkill since i have stock internals. Wondering if the fp 20g would be a better option. I really dont want to be the guy that throws a rod..... decisions decisions......

I feel the same way my sti is a DD so I want faster spool up when just cruising arount town and I heard the 20g would be a better choice for that but if you want more top end and plan on running high octane than you will make more power with the green but I think I'm guna just go with the 20g I dont feel like blowing my motor eather and dont have enough money for internals so decision made.

yeah thats what im thinkin spooline. If were gonna get the same pump gas performance, faster spool up, and save a little cash..... I think thats the way to go, because you wouldnt be able to fully utilize the green without internals. And if im gonna do internals might as well do the rotated 35-40g.And by that point you have a 50-60k vehicle, a gt-r or zo6 sounds a lttle better. And i dont want to be a number chaser and end up with a car that is no fun to drive unless your drag racing all day.

I disagree, I love my green.......on 91 it has quite a bit of spool.....stock internals can handle more, just not on 91.............

I say you mite as well just do ewg+ some other stuff on the stock turbo instead of 20g, but i dunno. You aren't going to get a lot more power without increased lag.......................20g will probably not feel much faster than a vf39 imo....but I could be wrong....
