back to reality here, though that was pretty funny.

Thanks Heedz, good thing for internet search so I could figure out what Tap ex actually was in cupertino. I was bummed that a place called Tapioca express did not have Tapioca pudding wtf.

Great huge car meet, handful of Subi's there. got a little intel going..
I was pointed in the direction of Greddy exhaust but found today they do not have anything for my 08 wrx.

So you say, Factory inter coolers can get a blown end cap even from factory boost huh, that's a bit scary.

I have a Cobb stage 1 tune, Exedy stage 1 and Nothing but smiles from me.
0-60 6.2 seconds

How is it that swapping to a larger inter cooler would do the opposite of what I want of higher HP/torque at lower rpm?

larger intercooler = more space to fill = less boost available at lower rpm = less power at low rpm

also big intercoolers (frontmounts for the most part) due to being so large and added pipes... the throttle response goes down significantly... top mounts as well but its not noticed by hardly anyone

simple as that... but not as simple due to the fact that the aftermarket intercooler are significantly better than the stock one... and that little bit delay is worth it...

Well the thing is our intercooler design is a bit different. it's definitely more freeflowing with it being easier to fill the "space" and yes. they do blow up at stock boost.

smaller turbo bigger displacement!

twin scroll!

air to water intercooler!

meth ,e85, 100 octane, or pick 2.

Money!

real talk tho, just keep your turbo, catless exhaust (anything will do) and a really good tune, you should be happy.

Once you start bumping up turbos and etc, you will never get the same low end feel.
