What do you want to do with the car? Everyone's path will be different depending on what they want to use the car for.

For instance, I track my car so my mods went like this:

First Month:
Valentine 1
i-club sticker
Rota Torques 17x8 for track duty
Brake Pads
SS Lines
Brake Fluid
Swaybars
Endlinks
Strutbars
Boost, EGT, and Oil Pressure Gauges
ECUtek ECU Display Monitor
Stereo
Whiteline Steering Rack Bushings
Whiteline Rear Diff Outrigger Bushings
Hella Supertones
Schroth Rallye 3 Harness

After 3 months:
Kartboy Shifter Bushing

After 6 months:
3" Vishnu Turboback Exhaust
ECUtek Reflash
Oil Catch Can
Fuel Pressure Gauge
S202 Wheels for street duty

After 11 months:
Poltec Lateral Links
Poltec Trailing Arms
KW Coilovers
PDM Master Cylinder Bracket
Oil Cooler
Oil Temp Sensor hooked into ECU monitor
Kartboy Rear Shifter Bushing
TIC Shifter Bushings
Whiteline Rear Diff Bolts
Chase Cam w/ Archos 420 DVR

Coming Up:
DBA 2 piece rotors
Radiator
Radiator Hoses
Fuel Pump
Auto Spray Switch
Tranny & Diff Fluid

I suggest you look through the Ongoing Projects forums for some of the other STi owners' mod paths.

What are using as the trigger? Mine is going to be connected to my ECUtek data display which will trigger a signal for water spray at a set boost level. So the AUTO switch ends up being an arming switch more than anything.

Get a Helix Catted DP, and an exhaust, then you need ecu tuning, and you will be ready to work on the suspension. Rear Sway bar is a must.

That depends on what car you came from. I had a 360hp WRX with coilovers, stoptechs, and a ton of suspension goodies. My lap times went up quite a bit due to the limits of the STi's stock suspension.

egan i couldn't agree with you more but you got to remember a lot of guys that are asking these questions are young guys 16-21 range (fast and the furious generation) that all they know is they got a 300hp car but dont know the limits but just want to go faster but havent mastered it yet.

I have a 05' STi and my only mods are a GP Moto tbe and Ingen cai. I've had it about five months, did the tbe about two weeks after I got it, and just put the intake on today. The dealer sold and installed my tbe so it wouldnt void my warranty, and the intake is simple to install/remove so Im not worried about that.
