Exhaust question
I have an 06 wrx sti, wondering what people use to make a stock down pipe and an hks carbon ti work? Kind of a newb question but I'd appreciate your guys input. New owner and the previous one wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed when it came down to certain mods.
Bolts
.. get new hardware from your local hardware store, it needs to be thin enough so go through your stock dp hardware holes, use large washers on the catback side.
.. remove the donut gasket on the stock dp.. it will slide off. Save it.
.. use a 2-bolt, 3 inch exhaust gasket when mating the dp ad cb. Part of the stock dp will sit inside the cb.
