ewg, noise and routing into the DP

i have a 06 sti and plan on upgradeing the turbo here very soon.i really want to run a ewg setup but the noise concerns me.cant i just route the WG dump into the downpipe to limit noise?is there a company that makes it come that way?

there isnt a company that makes a whole setup like that complete, the only way to go that is to have someone do a custom reroute back into your downpipe. As soon as i get my flex bellows shipped I'll have some pics of one im doing for someone right now.

I thought the newer helix pipes had a flange to route the EWG back in?

ya helix does make a setup but it is far from an ideal setup in the way they route it, from memory i think they do all the things your not supposed to do with a reroute.

Yeah, you can just reroute the dump tube from the EWG into the Down Pipe to eliminate most of the noise. I haven't seen any kits worthy of buying that come with a DP already routed from an EWG though.

No sounds clips, its not for me, just something I built. It should be in Lompoc (socal) by now. But you'll get most of the benefits of an ewg just not as much hp as you would running it into the open air. But you wont have that damn noise everytime you want to get on it. By all means I like to be obnoxious once and a while and get a kick out of a vta setup screaming.....but that noise is just so annoying!! Im not old (25) but I hate it, cant even get on the gas which i do everywhere whether it be in the car or on my supermoto which is loud as well, without everyone looking in your direction.
