There have been a lot of discussions on this topic you might want to do a search on this. But to sum it up yes you will get drivability issues. You will run lean momentarily in between shifts. It will throw your computer off a little as well. But the sound is soooooo cool!!!

You will run rich, not lean.
Your turbo will fall flat on it's *** in between shifts when accelerating fairly quickly , and yes, it's very noticeable.
At WOT when your just slamming through the gears it's not as noticeable, but how often do you really drive around at WOT on the street?

Believe me, I know first hand.

A BIG problem you guys with the stock exhaust are going to have is the damage that it's going to do to your catalytic converters and 02 sensors.
For a split second in between shifts you're going to have raw fuel being dumped into your exhaust.
If you are completely catless this isn't too big of a deal, unless a cop is behind you.
The reason I say this is because my first time driving around at night with a BOV installed on my car, I could look in my rearview mirror and see an orange/yellow glow almost everytime my exhaust popped (afterfire).
There is no doubt this will destroy your catalytic converters and/or cause unwanted attention.

My bad, i meant rich......dont know what i was thinking. I had one for a while too. Rough idle and rougher shifting. Some people can deal with it, but i always had a feeling that it was causing damage. Just didnt feel right. And when i went back to stock bov shifting got a lot smoother.............Unless you have a bigger turbo pushing more than 16 or 18 psi then you really dont need one IMO.

I was told there is nothing you can do even with tuning. You just need to be pushing higher psi.

Just say No to BOV's on stock (or even close to stock).
