BOV Install Question...

hey guys,
I just bought my first subaru today. It's an '05 wrx. Anyway, the guy I bought it from had a greddy rs bov on it that was recirculating. I just want to hear what it would sound like if I vented into the atmosphere instead.
I was wondering, in order to convert it, do I just take off the hose on the bov side and take out the recirculating pipe that came with the greddy kit? After that, just use the aluminum piece greddy gave with the rs kit to plug the other end of the recirculating pipe? Any help would be great. Here are the pics of what I'm talking about.

One side of the recirculation pipe I'm suppose to remove.

Other side of recirculation pipe and rubber hose i'm suppose to plug

It won't run as well if you don't recirculate.

i've read about that, but wanted to try it anyway. Is this the correct way to do it?

Take out the metal pipe and put the plug into the intake. Perferibly on the stock rubber hose that probably didnt come with your car. The stock rubber hose extends towards the bov. Good luck. Dont leave the bov in 100% atmo all the time if you have stock downpipe. It WILL clogg your dp and your car will run crappy.
