Best TBE & Intake combo?
Hi i just got my STi 5 days ago and i love it. My b-day is coming up next month and i was thinking about adding some mods onto my car. I want to put a TBE and an Intake on. Is there anything wrong in just doing these mods alone to my engine? what brands of the mods are the best and which are the best to use together? anything else you guys would reccomend me to put on my car? Thanks a lot you guys! You guys are the best

If you are not very mechanically inclined, then go for an Invidia TBE or a TurboXS. For me the best is the APS TBE, but the small STi wastegate will suffer from boost creep from the extra rush of air. The STis with the 3.5" APS race exhaust are the ones pushing more hp on those basis alone. The cai will give you an incredible rush of sound from the turbo spool and from the recirculating valve opening. Pretty cool upgrades if you ask me.

Do not get an intake unless you get an FMIC or have a UTEC. Intakes are not a wise money decision an a WRX or STi. Get a Turbo back exhaust (tbe) or just a cat-back and an up-pipe. Your car does not need a cai!!!
