If you really must have the $200+ pssh sound, by all means get a BOV that recirculates. I ran the Worx on my modded WRX wagon and it functioned perfectly. Very nice unit and highly recommended if absolutely have to have the BOV. The 50/50 GFB I had previously caused numerous problems with sticking springs and a tendancy to blow off when it wasn't supposed to.
That being said, I am running the stock bypass valve on my STi. It works perfectly and so does the rest of the engine.

I ran the RFL on my STi for a while, and it was all bad news, even when adjusted correctly. I had backfires at least every minute that were louder than gunshots, horribly jerky engine compression, major idle fluctuation, and stalling problems when on the freeway, just driving, and even commonly during a turn. The turns weren't fun to stall on, because your steering locks up as well as your brakes...Reaaaal safe. -_-
Trust me the BOV sound isn't all what it's cracked up to be. Plus, the more you vent metered air into the atmosphere, the more rich your car will run and ultimately bog between shifts. I have the Worx on my car right now, I'm just too lazy to take it off. I could have spent my $240 on something worthwhile.
If you're intent on getting a BOV though, get a Worx. You car will still run rich if you vent ANY air into the atmosphere. The stock bypass valve is good enough.

for that pssshhhhhh sound, just run the intake silencer delete elbow... or no silencer/elbow at all. that'll give you a nice psshhhhhh sound.
what I want is a hooting sound... but I'm not sure what gives that sound yet.
my free mods:
-remove stock STi axel-back (no muffler at all)
--sounds great actually... and not really noticeable since the "tunnel" for the exahust isn't that big.
-remove intake silencer
--slightly better throttle response and louder pshhhhh noise
=)
