Sorry mate... I should know this one... TGV? I have the FP Red in my 05 STi - I don't remember anything needing a delete.

you need this or the turbo will not clear the rear TGV sensor.

I've bought an fp red myself but not installing it yet. You definitely need tgv deletes unless you are lucky enough to have enough clearance. The fp red can produce what an fp green does with less boost and far less timing. Its supposed to have more lag but the potential of the turbo is better than the green. pdxtuning had a good write up on it over on nasioc.

but thing is, when talking about doing more boost on the red than the green, does that introduce the necessity for new internals? on stock internals, can you make more on the red than on the green, enough to offset the difference in lag?

On stock internals I have no clue. The longevity of the stock motor has to be in question though since its not running the factory ecu map, turbo etc. Maybe G35 can let us in on the lag issues.

G35 what numbers did you come away with and what kind of boost are your running.
