I have the kit and I run between 12.0 and 12.2, so the cobra guy you know, send my way
What did you trap? I would expect to see at least 115 to 117 mph, more if the APS figure of 430 hp was wheel horsepower.

I'm also talking about cobras i've seen in real life a magazine can mean 2 ****s to me. The fastest i've ever seen totally stock in person is 12.7@111. I've also heard that stock GT's do 13's which i've nevers seen.

The ETs of a stock Mustang Cobra are irrelevant to this thread since it has nothing to do with the fact that the VF39 can't flow enough air to make 430 hp with pump gas.

Over in the STi forum at Clubwrx.net there's a guy with a modded STi
IC, ECU mod, exhaust, intake, boost controller - I believe these are the mods

He made 326 whp. (375 hp at the crank I would guess)

Pretty impressive hp readings on the stock turbo with simple mods.

Impressive, yes, but last I checked, 375 was well short of 430+. Also, as the VF39 is very nearly the same size as a VF34, 375 hp is very reasonable.

I don't like mustangs and I don't really like guys who like mustangs (other than like 3 guys that I know). My dad's will spank most peoples' mustangs on crappy tires. I did get beat by my buddies not so stock STi though. All he had was turbo back and removed silencer and a radiator shroud for looks.

I think the only other mod the ISR 430hp setup has in addition to the mods I listed that made 326 whp is a header? That might bump it up another 10- 20 hp or so but that would be about it.

What I would like to see are some real track times (with time slips), the trap speeds would tell us a lot about the cars true HP.

326whp has to be more than 375hp the car definetly loses more than 49hp through the drivetrain. I'd say that's about 400hp.

Not necessarily. It depends on what dyno the 326 hp is made.
