2006 WRX and AP

Hi
can I use Cobb stage 2 with just a downpipe and AP? I dont want after market exhaust because its too loud, how about performance with just these 2 things? thx

you wont be able to run stage 2 smoothly with all performance gains without the turboback exhaust

but you still can run stage2 map with just a downpipe if i recall correctly.

thats what i plan on doing, then again, i have an sti.

not too sure about the wrx, but it should still apply.

yes you can! im running cobb stage 3 with just a downpipe, and i love it!

Stage 2 I think you mean? And stage 2 won't run properly with just a downpipe. Get a borla hush for a very stock look and quiet sound - its what I have and its fricken quiettt.

u could use the Borla "Hush" Exhaust - I've never dealt w/ it, but u'll still get the turbo back - which means the most from the Stage II Cobb - Go 2 www.fastwrx.com & listen 2 the exhaust - its not the same as in person - It will give u an idea

if you are replacing both cats you should be fine running stage 2 if you go to there site and read the map nots on the download page it will help you a great deal check out all the diffrent maps so you cat decide what works for you

If you are going to just get a downpipe, I would recommend getting a protune so that the car doesnt run to rich and you get optimum performance without having the cat-back exhaust.
