Talking '05 sti

Hey all this would be my first post to the 2.5 turbo forum. And why you might ask?
Well... I just picked up an '05 STi apsen white/ gold rims! It was time I trade in my '02 sedona red and got something better!
So I've been ripping it up all over the streets of denver and the highways, bi ways and well anything I can freakin' find. I got it bone stock with 5500 miles. So I guess I could say 'welcome to the club!' - to myself!
so tomorrow: running it at the track here- bandimere for a private race day i'll posts some times but here at altitude i'm not sure what i'll do. hoping for at least a 14 flat.
saturday i'm putting on the aps 3.5" no cats, greddy ebc, fuel pump.
future mod: deadbolt monster port and blackhole wastegate on the 34.
future future mods: bigger turbo, injectors, fmic, ecutek.

peace - i'm out!

Congrats on the new STI... be careful with launching that new baby. The most common problem I see with STIs? Clutch... from launching. Many of those guys come with get a new HD clutch and then snap axles. If you do launch make sure your tires are going to be the fuse in the system. The stock tires are super sticky, I would get something less sticky for straights. When your running on a road course (where the STI was ment to run) put the super stickys back on.

The STI is not built as a drag car, just be carful with it.
