For what you pay for the option, you can get a much better aftermarket exhaust, and have a lot more choices.

The so called performance exhaust they sell is just a muffler that makes the car louder and doesn't improve HP. So its a waste of money if you are looking for performance, you're better off just buying a aftermarket exhaust, even if it is just the muffler. It will save you a lot of money

ah you'll be fine.....you'll need to take a big rock to the differential to do damage....little rocks won't hurt it.

there are also many other exhausts that will fit with the protector on..

Borla Hush will work fine, and its the same size as OE. Also gives you all the performance gains without making you much louder. Looks stock too

Blitz Nur-Spec catback makes great performance gains too. It's just that it's ungodly loud heh heh.
Greddy Evo is a good, quiet catback that makes respectable gains as well.

I can't find my thread on a differential guard / 3" cat-back exhaust fix but it involves swapping out the 4 M10 hex-head bolts for countersunk fasteners. You can also use the Kartboy exhaust hangers, which are a bit longer to give you a clearance. This was to make a Borla Cat back work so I'm not sure about how the HKS pipe bends are but you can always wait til the install and see how it works.
