witch is better inj. CAI or SR
witch is better inj. CAI or SR?
i need some advice. im pobably going to get on pritty soon for my 04 sadan, but i was going to get the short ram. is it tru that if you get the short ram then it will suck up a lot of hot air and it wont help your car that much? thanx

Tired of saying it,
but most FMICs necessitate the use of a CAI or short ram. According to AZScooby, the new APS 65 series (CAI and short ram) require absolutely no tuning. Not even going to say do a search, etc, blah, blah, blah.

With a CAI they often have been proven to maintain higher levels of HP gains than with SR intakes. The SRs seem to be very susceptible to heat soak and thus lose HP gains run after run on dynos. As far as the Injen CAI is concerned I have heard that on multiple platforms their installation is by far better than AEM and DC, etc. Lastly with a CAI you must remeber that it might be a PITA to change the filter especially if you guys need to remove your bumper.
