Will I notice the difference ?
I have all the supporting mods for a VF-34, and injectors and fuel pump to go with it. Now I am considering doing more to my VF34.
Deadbolt Enterprises has a Monster Port, Heat coating on intake and exhaust side, intake port, and wastegate upgrade.
If I do all that worth about $365 will I notice the difference compared to if I just put in the VF34 ?

The turbo should spool faster, and produce a little better peak power etc..
I would spend the money on the turbo if its one you are gonna install and keep on the car for a longggg time...
U may want to save that $365 for a bigger 18g or 20g?? if you are only going to use that vf34 for a short time.

Well, it could be a WRX or a WRX STi. On one it will make a lot of difference, on another, not much if any.
Plus, since he posted in AFTERMARKET TURBO forum, which is for NA Subaru's with AFTERMARKET Turbo kits, it makes it even more confusing.
So, a shopping card could also be a possibility in this case.

not worth the money as another smarter person then I am has said. I have a vf34 and put 310 to the wheels full boost at 3k (2003 wrx) I don't think the port jobs they do are all that good and I don't think I am the only one that thinks that. but if you got money to blow and are looking for alittle extra out of your vf34 go for it.

Well, I am a student so I don't have money to blow. . . .
But I want to build my car around that turbo, and I want it to be the best around. I just want it to last and make better than the average VF-34.

Hey ya'll. My first post here. I'm a nOOb for sure but looks like there's a bunch of knowledge to be gianed from being here. In response to deadbolt services, I was feeling the same as Rush in that I wanted to most out of my vf 30 in my 03 rex. I had it coated, ported, polished. Then I had to (my shop, that is) take it out and send it back because it was "overported". Deadbolt was great about repairing it and put a bigger wastegate flapper on for free. However, it was a pain. Overall, I think maybe it takes a good tune to get max performance out of the treatment. It does, however, keep under the hood temps lower. I don't have numbers but that's why lots of folks get it coated. If I got a new turbo, would I do it over again? I think so if I I was taking it to a reputable tuner (I have ecutek) and, like Marksti said, if I was gonna keep it for a while. The underhood temps have to help with longevity.
