why is my car slower
Ok, i had a Blitz nur spec catback. and according to my hks TT i ran a 14.6 without the catback and i also ran a 14.6 at the track, then i put on my catback and ran a 14.0 and a 13.9 on the turbotimer. Then i put on the up and down pipe and ran a 14.5 and a slower 0-60 with these parts on it. i cant be loosing boost due to a leak because i put a boost gauge on and it is at 1.1 bar. Any ideas, is my bov opening early, cause its not as loud i dont think, but if it is opening early is it possible to still be 1.1 bar.
Thanks alot.

Some form of engine management is really needed to utililize the free-flowing exhaust. I highly recommend the Cobb AccessPORT. I had a full catless setup for a few weeks while I was waiting for my AccessPORT. The car was faster for sure, but once I got the AccessPORT it was WAY faster. The programming takes advantage of the catless setup. Get the AP and you'll be all grins.

You might want to reset your ECU in the meantime. Your car's onboard computer probably doesn't know WTH is going on with all these new mods all at once, so reset it by unplugging the negative battery terminal for a minute or two, depressing the brake pedal a few times, then plugging the battery back in. You'll know it's reset when you lose all your radio station pre-sets.

mabe i was thinking i need to re tune the turbo timer. mabe the rpms are off so it is reading slower. and if anyone wants to trade there exhaust for my nur spec let me know, a hush or a evo would be nice. something quiet. i think i would get loudest exhaust at mt hamelton this year.
Then go here www.cobbtuning.com and order the AccessPORT. It'll probably take 6 weeks to get it because of the backorder, but it's worth it. Trust me, you'll love it.

steedsta, you want a quiet exhaust? I'll trade my stock catback
But anyway, this is a strange situation... I'd like to see how it resolves itself...

Choku's onto something with the ECU not knowing what the he!! is going on. The stock WRX ECU is smart, but not smart enough to compensate for a catless setup. I know that when mine was catless before the AP, it was a little faster, but mainly just a **** load louder. Engine management is the only way, plus it makes reliable power. I'm sorry that I can't help you about the turbo timer issue. I never bothered researching those.

if you're runnin a stock turbo with your up/down pipe combo it's probably fu*ked with your compression with the turbo. probably makin the turbo work harder and producing worse results. solution = bigger turbo and getta tune esp.

, therefore resulting in faster spool up and more power.
