who's got the greddy EVO exhaust?

hey guys,
i just installed mine today... really sounds great.
I have a question on your installation though. Did you have to use your stock screws in connecting the pipe to the cat? Cause mine came with only two... connecting the muffler and the pipe. I had to cut the springs on the stock screws too cause the greddy was thick. I'm just wondering cause I have a feeling that that area isnt sealed properly. How do you test if it's airtight anyway? And if it isn't sealed, what problems will I encounter? THanks.
