Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

You really dont need one if you havent upgraded turbo, then you probably will have to get one because the stock ones sometimes rip. But if you do really want one go with Perrin, thats what I have and it seems like a really good product.

Ive read some horror stories of the Perrin and the GP Moto collapsing. They are made with different numbers of layers, the Samco having the most, which is the only one I have not heard of having this problem. Unfortunately its the most expensive other than the JDM STi which is extremely rare and tough to find, not to mention way more expensive than the Samco. Im not sure how much you will actually see from one of these...Im curious to know. If anyone has had a dyno before and after the addition of one of these, I think you should post it as this is becoming an increasing debate.

dont know about gpmoto, but the perrin one does collapse under high boost levels. we're talking about bigger turbos and not ihi.. 18g and up they could be a problem..

Samco... Hands down. And I do recommend it even for a stock turbo. Works great.
