Exclamation what is the stock boost on an 04 wrx?

what is the stock boost on an 04 wrx? I am debating about the first power adder to buy. I am about to buy a 22mm rear swaybar and trying to figure out how much buying a boost controller would really gain me... i dont know even the stock rating... what psi converts to "bar" ? and how far i could turn up the boost without hurting anything.

I think you need to look into some engine management before you start swapping parts. you just need to do some research.
suspension mods would be great start...

oh stock boost if about 13.5 psi
and you shouldn't turn up the boost without engine management or mods.

if you add boost but not fuel and take away timing you will blow the motor

a boost controller is the last thing you want. you turn up your boost but not your fuel and then you run super lean n blow your motor. manual or electric doesn't matter it's just pumps more air and sprays regular amount of gas so it's really not a good idea. if you plan on getting it protuned then go for it.....but you wont need it obviously the tuner could do it himself. first power adder should definately be downpipe although the suspension would be fun esepecially with a nice set of sticky tires
