what size wrench for o2 sensor??

what size wrench for o2 sensor??

i went to autozone and he said it's most likely 22mm for my car so i got it although it says for most ford trucks on it. should i go exchange it or will it work??

ya not while its in the car.. but once the pipes are outa the car it works nice

Most people who need to remove the o2 sensor from the manifold would need to do it while still on the car. No one wants to pull the exhaust manifold off just to change an 02 sensor. replacing the gaskets alone would cost more than the cost of an o2 sensor socket.

lets say they wanted to replace their manifolds at the same time with a replacement header. they would still need to go through all the hassle of unplugging the harness and removing the bolt on the coil pack to get the bracket there free...... o2 sensor sockets are not that expensive.

I know all that.. Some Napa stores even have a rental program. Put your deposite down, use the tool, bring it back and get your full deposite back.

sure, Why rent it? its not that expensive. IMO not worth the gas/time renting.

ya for some that might be the case.. but for me personaly there is one about .5miles from here
and the fact that its not a tool you really use all the time
