exhaust question

I currently have the spt muffler installed on the car. If I put a downpipe and uppipe. would that be the same as a turboback?

You would need a midpipe and downpipe for it to be considered a turboback.

Uppipe is not part of a turboback because it comes before the turbo.

Turboback exhaust is everything connected from the turbo outlet to the back of the car.

Some one piece downpipes connect to your cat-back, so you do not need a mid pipe and that also would be considered a Turboback

A turboback goes all the way from the turbo to the end of the exhaust, and includes the muffler. "Turboback" is not the name of any specific part, it is a package of parts that all fit together. Putting together chunks of stuff from different makers is not the same thing as what is commonly sold as a "turboback."

Sorry to split hairs, but that is the way the term is used.

THIS is a turboback: APS 3" turboback

Also one more question.. Who manufactures those one piece downpipes? I planning on going stage 2 cobb, so I'll do the downpipe and uppipe installs. So I wanna see what combo would be good for me. Thanks
