what if my new boost guage doesn't point to zero??
I have a Subaru boost gauge and a Blitz SBC-ID and for me, When i'm driving, and its at 0.00 psi on my Blitz, it reads .1 on my boost gauge, so i dunno where which one is correct, but i go with my Blitz sbc-id.

ive lamco gauges in my rex
a lot of boost gauges will also measure negative pressure when the car is at idle.mine is at -60 something on idle then on WOT it reads 0.85 bar or so (standard)
when the car is switched to on it should be on 0
yu can drive the car all through the revs on negative boost or without going past 0 on the boost gauge by using the accelerator gently.
hope this helps

Zero bost gauge
The gauge is reading atmospheric pressure and was probably set to read zero at 29.92". (reflects standard atmospheric presure at sea level @ 59deg F)
If there is a weather system either increasing or reducing the atmospheric presure the gague will reflect that presure change. Also if you live at an altitude above or below sea level the presure will be higher or lower.
Make sense?
