what exhaust....????
hi i was wondering what exhaust is the best to put on the 02 wrx.....
i was looking at going with the turbo XS stealth back and getting a prodrive rear sect....but that might be to quiet....
or getting an HKS carbon-TI and puting on the turbo-XS bellmouth Downpipe....
any other recomendations.....thanks for the help....

The HKS exhaust is rather loud, espeacially if you are not running any cats. The Vishnu one isn't 'too' loud.
The HKS at idle is around the mid 90'sdB and around 102-105 dB at 3000rpm's.
The Greddy Evo exhaust is in the low 90's at 3000rpm's. I don't have data on the Vishnu exhaust, but I have heard a WRX with the signature series exhaust on their dyno and it wasn't too bad. It has an aggressive sound, but just doesn't do it by screaming, if you know what I mean.

thanks for your help...i think i am going to get the signiture series....i was wondering if you could get the STI look muffler for the Sig series...or if the slash cut is the only one you can get... thanks for all your help....

Hey qwk_wrx, if you want, I have a little video of a WRX on Vishnu's dyno with their exhaust on it. I can e-mail it to you if you want. I don't have it on the internet anywhere nor do I have the means of doing so. It is pretty short. It doesn't really give you a great idea of the sound because the dyno makes a lot of noise also. But, if you are interested, let me know.

Hey qwk, I tried e-mailing you that video, but I got an error back. I sent you an e-mail also, without the video to see if it is the attachment. Some servers won't allow certain size files to go through. The video is only about 1.7 or 1.8 megs. Let me know if you know how big of a file they will accept.

Hmmmm. I sent it again and got that error once again. I sent you an e-mail without the attachment and I didn't get an error back, so logic dictates that it is the file attachment causing this. Is there someone else I can try and send it to like a friend or family? I won't give up, if you want it.
