Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

For an 04' wrx what do you think of this setup. Im gunna take it one step at a time obviously but this is how it will be in the long run.

Accessport is the broken part of that build -- your parts list doesn't match any of the accessport maps currently available. Unless you know someone who can tune a custom map for you, I'd steer clear and get an actual shop tune.

I think you will find the Hush restrictive for that large of a turbo.

I agree that the hush will be restrictive for that turbo. I know crucial is working on a low-profile looking exhaust, so that might be something to look into. As for what meilers said about the AP, it wont be a problem. All you have to do is find someone local (I drove 4ish hours for mine) to get a protune.

APS 3" dual-tip is about as low-profile as you can get; the other dual-tip (Perrin?) is crazy loud, but the APS is quite mellow with a hi-flow cat.

You have to figure borla is a reputable company, also an exhaust that goes from 3" all the way through than goes to a 2.5" at the tip is supposed to be good for reducing back pressure. My first exhaust was the SPT and i liked it, but my car sounded like a boat and believe it or not i actually think the borla gave me slightly better power. Yea i was gunna have the car pro-tuned with all those parts. Im not final on those exact company's but those are the cheapest and im low on cash so that looks like how its gotta be, i cant dump another 500 for an exhaust system (too bad for me). Thanks for the help guys.

looks like you have a good plan. No wasted money on intakes, BOVs, silicone hoses and headers, just good bang-for-the-buck mods. As long as your AP is pro-tuned you should have a nice reliable set-up.

Your Hush will be fine for a 16g.

SPT<Borla<Fart Cannon (exhaust flow wise)

the borla actually I think goes down to 2.5" to mate with the stock dp, you have to get a 3" adapter for it to fit.

Your Borla "hush" catback exhaust that is already on your car
should run just fine with that setup. If you are looking to get the
most whp out of that setup you should go with a different catback
exhaust.Definitly consider custom mapping for your car.Good luck
that setup should make should power.
