what bov would you buy
Are you stock? The stock bov is fairly good already, it just doesn't have that cool woosh sound. If you want to get a bov, a 50/50 bov is probably better. Some people experience a funny idle and loss of power between gears with a 100% atmos bov. GFB makes a pretty good 50/50 bov. I've heard the HKS and it sounds pretty nice.

GFB has a new BOV out called the stealth and it is fully adjustable. If you want a bov then that would be the way to go, but the stock one is always the best.

Anyways, there was a good thread yesterday in the EJ25T forum about blowoff valves.

Don't know if this will be helpful or not if you own a WRX, but it wouldn't hurt to read it. Good stuff in it.

None right now, but if I had to choose I'd go with a GFB hybrid or stealth2 or one for Worx tuning. From all the stuff I've read on the net, hybrid seems the best way to go if running stock ic and turbo and are just looking for the pssshhhh noise. It's not as loud, but going the 50/50 route is what i'd personally do since it's "safe".

I'm in the same boat: No really necessity for a BOV (I have a TBE w/uppipe and am running stock on all others that would be affected by the BOV, but I will be getting the Cobb Accessport soon), but I really crave the whoosh sound
- is the GFB 50/50 the way to go? Like I said, I'm a sucker for that noise...

I have a Type-H and I love it. I'd suggest you run a search on the different kinds of BOV's there are a lot of questions like this that have been alread answered. Not tryin' to flame, just tryin' to help.
