What is the better sounding BOV -- Blitz or HKS
#2
Again, it depends on what you're looking for. If you run a search I'm sure you'll come up with ALL kinds of information and maybe some sound clips. This question has been answered many times. I'm not tryin' to flame, but for some relatively general questions, try to search.

I've heard the HKS and it is very loud from what I remember. See if dorifto88 still has his...that's the one I heard.
I have the WORX's and I love it. Not to loud but just loud enough to here it. They are making two rings, a loud one and the standard one. I think you can order it either way. And it has adjustable settings...it's pretty sweet!

www.blowoffvalves.com they have sound clips on there. The only questions i have is, is how loud the BOV is at lower rpms... Is it loud every time i take my foot off the throttle? or only when i rev it high?

Yes, the HKS is loud and has a high pitch sound to it. However, you can get a different fitting for it that totally changes the sound. I have the HKS BOV on my car with the different fitting. Mine isn't high pitch anymore nor is it really loud. You can still hear it, but it is more like a sound of rushing air through a tube or something like that. I have a video of it if anyone is interested.

Shouldn't the performance
of the bov be more significant? My bov (APS) doesn't make much noise at all. Of course it's 50% vented back to intake, like it should be. I know city bus' bovs make a lot of noise, hmmm?
