weak turbo between 5-6k
recently, my turbo has been boosting normal till 5000 rpms at WOT and it will cut out then and then start boosting again shortly after 6000. has anyone else had this problem? the only thing that i can think of is that i abused

you might wanna post more information seeing as your name denotes you have a GSR motor, which is honda... so are you asking a Subby or Honda/Acura question? tell us more about your setup.

it's a stock wrx setup besides the rfl blowoff valve.

replaced the stock bov, but it still does the same thing. any more suggestions?(this is b18c1)

bzzzt ... your car car is pulling timing in the peak HP/TQ range. Mine does the same thing. Try resetting the ECU.
