Vf39 Swap

Currently at stage 2 with accessport, Invidia Full turboback, perrin uppipe, cobb short ram. I want to do the vf39 swap and use the cobb map until i could save for a protune. I know i need pinks, sti topmount, and vf39, but i was wondering would 07+ wrx injectors work? there just a big as the sti? also is the turbo inlet worth it since ill be in there already installing the new turbo? thanks

No, you cannot use any thing but Pinks because the latencies are different. You can do the inlet if you want. They get soft and tear with higher mileage. If your car has 80k miles or less, swap away. Over 100k, start saving up for repairs.

How much timing difference is there between pinks and other OEM injectors?

Ive been running blue 07 injectors for a couple years now without issue.

generally, the more you mod, the sooner something may break.

More power can mean more stress to parts.

Statistically the reliability modded Subarus drop like a rock around 100k. And you generally don't want to put a larger turbo on a higher mileage engine unless you have a back up plan.

right i see. and i plan on keeping my wrx for a long as possible. the only problem is im stuck at a point where i cannot get any more power without upgrading a turbo....unless were talking wasteful mods like port and polishing my tdo4 haha. how far can i go with the tdo4? maybe bigger intercooler and walbro pump with protune? i think i should see some pretty good gains.

fuel pump and injectors with a protune should give you a nice boost in power, even on the TD04.

Stock pump/injectors/tmic/intake with catless up and full catless tbe a i put down 210whp/229wtq on FWs mustang dyno

Use either injectors, sell the crapcess port and use the money to get tuned for your setup instead of running a universal off the shelf map.

Just my .02

Don't use the cobb stage 3 map because it's POS. I ran it before the my car ran like ****. Either get a protune after the swap of go open source.
