yes it will throw a cel, but you can fix it with a resistor. 2.2k ohm 1/2 watt.
There should have been a resistor 2.2k ohm 1/2 watt packed with the uppipe. If not just buy a one from an electronics store like radio shack.
Do a search on upipe Cel fix, and you should find the instructions on what to do.

Here is a thread that has pictures on how to do the resistor mod
It is pretty easy and straight forward. I noticed above that a 1/2 watt resistor was recommended. I used the 1/4 watt and it worked for me, but I know others that used the 1/2. Experimentation is the key to mental health... and if your car throws a CEL, then try the other resistor and reset it.

If you brought it new then the Pipe comes with a resistor taped to the instructions, if you brought it used and need one PM me I'll send you one.
