upgradable compressor
is there a upgradeable compressor for the intake side of the turbo for a wrx? I searched and cant find one at all. I know people doing it on 240sx's and rx7's but cant find for the wrx.

It might be a better idea to go with a new turbo. I haven't heard of anyone upgrading their compressors for the stock turbo.

Forced performance offers an upgraded stock turbo for $595 plus core, which includes a larger compressor wheel. It used to be a decent value for someone looking for a bit more power on stock fuel, but with the recent price drop on IHIs, it's be easier to just throw a VF30 on it for $650 outright and run 13psi if you dont have injectors/EM.

$600-odd for half-a-turbo doesn't seem like my cup of tea
Go for an IHI VF series turbo for a bit more instead
