smoke seems to be coming from my newly installed up-pipe and i cant find out where the problem is tell me if this has happened to ne1 else

 

Did you use any lube/wd-40? I used wd-40 to help loosen the bolts and when the car was first started after install, the wd-40 smoked for a bit.

 

i did use wd40 to loosen the bolts last night and sprayed it all over the place, but that was last night

 

Its most likely the wd-40(especially if you sprayed it everywhere), just drive it around lightly until it burns off.

 

yeah it probably was that because when it was burnin off n smokin it had a weird smell to it like not even gas smell so thanx

 

new gaskets burn in and smoke a bit too.

 

AFter installation there was some fluttering noise only when i really get on the throttle or up into the 4,000 rpm range. It doesnt sounds like a leak, but does anyone know if that is normal or what for a full TBE with an up-pipe. Im guessing it is probably jus the turbo
