Turbo XS FMIC Install Gallery
My friend just took delivery of his brand new TurboXS FMIC and we installed it in one night! The thing is bad ***. I love that you don't have to remove the fog lights or cut the fender well either. In true TurboXS fashion, the instructions were "enough" but could be brushed up a bit. The only part that was scarey was cutting the front bumper. We still have to touch that up a bit, but the IC is installed and according to Biaxin (NASIOC user name) it's running great!

I Dont POST on the NABISCO site! Patooey! =P Im a regular on clubwrx.net. I found that site first so I stuck with it. This Fmic is Tight! Here is a post that I did on Clubwrx.net.
------------------------------------------------------------
It looks better in person! That angle makes it look like there is a big gap between the intercooler and the bumper.
This Install took over 8 hours! But it was well worth it. IM not too happy with TurboXS instructions. They left out alot of information. The pictures that come with the manual are not detailed enough and they were outta sequence. And for the Bumper cover cutting, OMG I was shooting from the hip on that one. Luckily it turned out great. I had to remove alot more material than shown.
I Also had to cut underneath the Car.
(Plastic shield under the fog lights. Turboxs didn’t even mention that).
The only thing that worries me is my loss of structural support in the front. When installing the supplied bumper beam. The OEM bumper beam went from fog light to fog light. This new beam only goes from the endtank of the intercooler to the other endtank. So if i hit someone in the front faster than 10-15 mph it could be expensive to fix But I knew that going in.
When I was re-installing the bumper cover Turboxs Supplied two bolts to replace the clips. These clips are in the wheel well. The bolts seemed too small so I used 2 14MM bolts with 2 lock washers. These bolts are to suck up the bumper cover to the quarter panels. The bolts that came in the kit were just too small and I had some sagging. With the 14MM bolts It was flush!
Okay it sounds like there were a few installation problems but it wasn't that bad.
Performance....
Brad and I went out and did the initial test. I now have a Bit more lag. Full Boost is just under 3,900rpm. The engine seemed a little rough at first. But after driving around for 15mins I Started to feel the Computer learning my New Intake / Intercooler.
We installed the intecooler Tuesday night. I had to Go to Chicago the next day so I went on a little Road trip! On the way I was doing 80 the whole way. I didn't push it the way there, I wanted the computer to learn the new system. But on the way back, I pushed my car hard as I could with out getting busted by the HWY patrol. I must have buried my car 4 times! The performance that I picked up was pretty noticeable. My 4th gear feels just like my 3rd gear! I was giggling the whole way home!
Two more Upgrades THEN IM DONE! I SWEAR!!!
Clutch / Flywheel
Godspeed's secret Turbo!
And maybe Turboxs Trans Kit. (When it's released... who knows)
Phil at TXS told me there secret Project Destroyed 2nd gear in two weeks!!!! Maybe they dont know how to drive manuals =) j/k

I would think so. depends on what mods you have...
you can get up to 74+ with a stage 3 from turboxs on a stock turbo (TMIC is part of the stage 3)
105+ on a turboxs stage 4 with stock intercooler.
(vf-30, vf-34 turbo)
Im moving up to a Garret GT 32 Series soon. I dont think the V2 TMIC can keep up with that turbo =P
hey brad. can you tell a Mod to move this to another fourm? I think its belongs in Aftermarket Turbo. =P lates

Biaxin....
This is Garret with World One. It sounds like you are already in the know, but I just wanted to confirm that you will definately need to go FMIC with this turbo. You will be glad that you did, and otherwise you would not get this turbo all the flow it needs.
Sounds like you are well on your way.
Congrats...
