Turbo inlet hose

I've read on the site, and on a previous audi forum, that cai and short rams are bad news unless you have a high output engine. My question is, will the turbo inlet hose, like the samco or perrin, screw the maf up too? Or will it just be a good thing?

well short rams are coo...but they don't do **** on a stock setup...better for an aftermarket turbo setup....as for the turbo inlet hose...its perfectly fine..wont cause ya any problems.....but it also doesn't do much either...besides providing a smoother passage for the incoming intake air....what mods u got by the way????

do the 3/16 mod = Free mod I did the mod to my car and feel a little difference in throttle response or spool or something, but there is a difference (for the better) and nothing bad to note thus far.

Another good mod would probably to the Perrin pulley mod - I believe there is a vendor on this board that is offering the pulley for $140 installed!
