Torque on a catback install
going to bolt on a catback on my 05 wrx (dc sports 3 piece in case you were wondering.)
anyway, i was wondering what kind of torque should i be using when i bolt the pipes on. does it matter much? do i really need a torque wrench for it or can i just tighten it good and tight? i looked for info on this and found nothing so any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Only a few things on a car truely need to be torqued. In exhaust terms there are 3 levels of torque
1. not on there enough
2. on there good and tight
3. on there thight enough to where you broke a bolt or nut (too hard)
Use good judgement
