Time for a new car?

I have a 02 wrx with 54,000 miles on it. It is completly stock, and last week the motor started knocking. I took it to my dealer and they replaced all the parts that caused the "problem" aka the bottom end of the motor. My question is should I trade in the car or keep it and see how they did? I have a 1 year parts and labor warr. on the work that they just did. Also has anyone else ever seen or heard about this happening on a stock wrx. I always changed my oil every 3-5000, I was even running sinthetic. Any answers would be great.

the same thing happened to me about 3500 miles ago. I am still giong to keep the car. i bought my car used and the previous owner bought a sti. I think the previous owner beat the crap out of my car. I also had the tranny rebuilt because it would grind whenever i downshifted into any gear. Now i am looking at a turbo rebuild. Evertime i got the car fixed i upgraded so i would not have to repair it again
