Actually you can change your tranny fluid without taking the IC off. What you do is, go buy a hand oil pump with long hose from autopart store and just pump the fluid in the digstick hole. You will figure it out man. If not, drop me a pm.

There are directions there on scoobymods, I just did mine on my F-XT too and there is no need to remove the IC as stated, just use a funnel and some tygon tubing.

Pretty much the same on the WRX, How to here:

PS since Scoobies are pretty much the same across the line when working on many things, Legacy, Impreza and Forester it's best to search scoobymods and not just look in a particular section.

Easy, 2 bolts on the sides of the intercooler and then 3 on the front holding on those hoses. Then all you have left are the throttle body hose clamps and the home clamp on the turbo. The real ***** I've found is getting it all back on! Trying to get the throttle body hose connected and y hose under the intercooler connected back on to the turbo is a real pain There might be some trick to it, but I haven't figured it out.

You shouldn't have to take off the tmic to switch downpipes, I switched mine out without taking the tmic off with no problem. I would try to put the pipe in without taking the tmic off first, then if you can't, take off the tmic.

The trick is to heat up the stock one, or get a silicone Y hose and put it back on in two seconds!

Actually, I got a silicone hose kit (y pipe, throttle body, bov) from rallitek.com. I couldn't decide if I wanted the Perrin one or the other one they offer (GPMoto?) because there was about a $50 price difference. I think I made the mistake and went for the cheaper one. The fitment of the y-pipe totally sucks. With the hose clamped down to the two inlets under the intercooler, there isn't enough hose to get it to fit nicely on the turbo. I spent hours trying to get it back on.
