Are Stock Intercoolers Painted at Factory?

Are Stock Intercoolers Factory Painted?
Hi all, i'm trying to find out if the stock intercoolers are painted at the factory or if they're bare metal. I could go out and check my ride, but I don't feel like going outside and messing with it. Besides its cold outside. I bought an STI intercooler that the original owner had painted an aluminum color. I want to remove the paint and reapply original paint if it is supposed to have paint on it.
Also, anyone know the actual name of the Red "STI" on the top of the intercooler. I wan't to reapply that as well.
I wan't to get it as original as possible....Thanks in advance.
