stock 03 wrx exhaust
stock 03 wrx exhaust
Hello guys, I am wondering if you guys have any info on the oem wrx exhaust.. the one with the dual tips. I am thinking about putting this on my SR20DET'd 240sx.. right now I am running an Apexi N1 3" exhaust, it aint too loud, but it's a tad bling for me. So I wanna get something that looks stock, like a WRX exhaust. Anyway, what do you guys think?
What's the inlet on the muffler? I was thinking of flanging it up to my 3" piping from the N1. I know someone from the 240 forums who did this...the hangers go right on the chassis.. Any thoughts?

Great power mod! Dont listen to anyone your on the right track to making some serious horse power!!!! As far as on a sr20det yes a p.o.s engine but after installing this exhaust, giddy up for a ride you will always remember!
For install I recomend just welding it on to the stock piping. And dont forget to buckle up!

The WRX stock axleback is 2.25" so I'd leave it for someone else's project. You'd be better off finding a dual-tip WRX axleback in 3" like a Bosal, Stromung, or Perrin, etc.

Why on earth do you want a restrictive, heavy, ugly stock axleback off a WRX?!
Why not go for something like the Trust dd or something instead? There's ALOT of dual tip aftermarket exhausts, especially from Japan.

SCOOBYDOOD, I'll sell you mine cheap. I just bought an STI axleback and don't need to keep my stock WRX muffler after I get it installed. Let me know...I'm in San Jose.

How much are you thinking of spending? The stock WRX axleback is really lousy, even if someone gave it to you for free. You might as well keep the stock 240SX axleback =\
