STi Manifold

I am sure someone here knows, but what are the advantages of the JDM STi manifold compared to the USDM WRX manifold????

TGV's?

Does the STi manifold come with the TGV? (tumble generator valves) Ive never heard them being on, just wondering if anyone knows.

Depends, I think. The Type RA doesn't have them, while the regular STi does.

TGV's?

Well then im sure its one of those smog helpers to enable the wrx to qualify for a LEV.

I'ts because the TGV's are on a second part of the manifold, the lower part. You only swap the red part, while you don't touch the lower part.

I guess its better to have a GENUINE STi part if your really into it, and can afford it. I would like to have an entire STi but its not financially possible.

the sti does not have the tvg in them but it has the accelerator plate. the RA is completely hollow.

One more time. Some STi's have it and some don't. There are more than just one "STi" in Japan.

The STI intake manifold is also alittle bit shorter in length because it does not have the TGV's, if you compare the two side by side you can see, that the USDM manifold has to make room for the TGV's and the sensors as well..
