well i guess i am new to this, but i have done searches and ive read around. i am interested in getting the sti heads with avcs, but is it worth it? what type of gains and how much, can you hear the advance of the cams while driving, is it rmp activated?
i am ordering the gruppe-s v2 header with up pipe and a down pipe. i have a greddy catback and i am going to get the blitz intake.

the head with avcs allows you to redline at 8.5k compared to the usdm's 7k you should expect some low end gain, and better spool up, but that's about it.

 

so what about the trigger or activation method? is there one, most are rpm activated.

 

You need a JDM ECU or you can de-avcs.

when i did a search, i did read that great post, but it you did not have the acvs activated, i just wanted to know what type of whp you can get and if it is worth it. and how exactly the system worked. i am seriously concidering it for the better powerband and higher rev limiter
