is it even an up grade to go to an STI catback? i want to eventually do up and down pipe, but i dont want a loud exhaust and was going to do either a borla or just stay stock cat back. im not sure though..... i can get the STI cheap, but isnt it just the same as stock, 2.5?

we had a thread on the stock 02 03 axle back. some one cut it open, but no one wanted to cut open an STi cat back hehe

i havent had a yard stick around when i had a chance to poke at it and see if its strait through.

I know the sti resinator is different than the wrx. the STi is bigger
