i wrote out a list the other night of supporting hardware (only focusing on the engine, drivetrain stuff will be later) i would need for a turbo swap. since i cant drop $4000 into the car right now, i figured i could start small, and start adding the (somewhat affordable) little odds and ends i would need later; mainly, injectors and a UTEC.
i was thinking about putting in the STI 525cc's. would these injectors be able to flow enough to keep a VF30 (in the future, hopefully) from leaning out the A/F? and would i be correct in assuming that i would have to install the new injectors with a utec to keep from running rich? if i just installed the injectors on their own, would the car be livable, or would i be flooding the cylinders and belching black smoke?
one last question! would it be redundant to buy the UTEC and an electronic boost controller?

anyone know if would it be redundant to buy the utec AND an electronic boost controller? im not going to buy a boost controller if i can get the utec to switch to different boost levels on the fly.
