Stage 2

I just flashed my car to Stage 2 today and I just need to use this thread to say WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWWOWWO!!!!!! My car is a f%^kin beast now....sorry if this is weird for some of you people who have been stage 2 for a while, but I am just totally surprised and did not expect my car to have that high of a performance increase.

My car is a 2004 WRX and got the full turbo-back and up-pipe. I am not sure about the hp gains, it feels like a good 15-20 to the wheels. All I know is that it made a pretty significant difference in the power band; its just so much smoother and when the boost hits, it hits really hard. You'll get thrown back in your seat every time you shift.

stage 2 will only last for so long...you'll get used to the pull quick...but it probably is one of the "best bang for the buck" mods. I actually did pretty good with stage 2...13.64@98 (03 wrx)...now got a VF in and it feels soooooooo much better than stage 2 (but then again, i also did an RA gearswap)...only thing is, our track closed down before i could run the 1/4...hope you enjoy the setup

stage 1 is simply engine management with no exhaust modifications (though catless uppipe alone qualifies as stage 1 also). you can run stage 2 with just a downpipe, but will get maximum benefits when running an uppipe and a full turboback.

so no uppipe will dramatically affect the power increase of stage 2 or is the uppipe more for quicker spool?

HKS Carbon-Ti Catback
HKS bov
Zerosport I/C Shroud

....not too bad...also considering it was at Hawaii Raceway Park with high high humidity

with turboback and intake, I got 190awhp and 180tq in my 04. after UTEC... 219 for each. definitely the best decision ive made for my car. its a HUGE difference in terms of the feel of the car.
