Something Blew...

Okay, I have no idea whats going on with my car but i have a feeling its the radiator. So the deal is that i popped open my hood and in the front around the radiator there are dried white stuff all over. it looks like dried up white liquid that just squirted out everywhere. Its all over the front part. Also my coolant is Extremely low. It wasn't like this 2-3 days ago. The car isn't over heating or anything. Im kind of clueless of what it might be... Oh when the white stuff kind of "melt" it looked kind of green like my coolant.

Any helps would be appreciated.

Check the upper and lower radiator hoses and check to see if there are any leaks in the radiator. How many miles you have on your 03? My radiator had a crack and I had to replace mine 10k ago and I currently have 84k...

Do what mrruins said. The top of your radiator is plastic and is known to leak over time. If it is the radiator, the warranty is out and you plan on keeping the car go with an aftermarket radiator.

BTW, some of the Subaru replacement upper radiator hoses are too long and after they expand the fan will eat a hole in them. My car has been very reliable for 105k but the damn coolant system has bit me in the butt 2 times.

The "pipes" are rubber hoses that are connected at the upper and lower portion of the radiator.

Didn't the 02-03 also have a recall on a faulty cover near the thermostat? I remember someone pointing out that they changed it to a different type of material due to corosion. I don't remember where the exact location was but I've heard stories of coolant leaks from that spot.

^^^ Are you maybe thinking of the coolant covers that were painted, the paint was peeling and bubbling inside the coolant fill tank and getting into the coolant...

lol hows that for a run-on sentence?
