I just got an STI top mount for my WRX, does the samco intercooler tubes work with this setup, or just the stock intercooler? Thanks.

 

You'll have issues. There's something on Scoobymods about a fix for it. You'll have extend the intercooler hose to the turbo.

actually I just went looking at pictures, since I havn't got it yet. But I wasn't aware that the STI intercooler had a metal Y pipe, I may just have it ported. So I don't have to worry about this anymore. I thought it had the cheap sh*t plastic duct like the WRX stock Y-pipe. So this is an added benefit to getting this mod.
