I saw that the s202 had 320ps in Road&Track, or maybe Car&Driver. Do you know where that figure comes from. On the STi website when they had the s202 at 280ps like other STi's. I know there have been claims before that Subaru power numbers were actually higher then 280ps, so I was just wondering if it was dyno'd at 320?

which subaru are you referring to by "there have been claims before that Subaru power numbers were actually higher then 280ps". if its the 22b you're talking about, there hasn't been a stock 22b that dyno'd more than 276ps.

289whp seems about right for those mods.....figure 98ron gas and 19.9 psi
A WRX would make the same power with the same components. i.e. VF34, uppipe, injectors, exhaust, UTEC, 93 octane gas etc.... It's just the STi drivetrain is much more reliable at those, and higher power, levels.

I could have sworn that at STi's website they used to list the s202 at 280ps. Or maybe I should just lay off the crack. I don't know. Does anyone know why FHI doesn't conform with the 280ps power restriction anymore? I know the s201 was rated at 300ps, so it is very possible that the s202 has 320.

All of their production cars are 280ps like the other manufacturers. The way I've heard it described before is the S201/202 are sold to STi and then resold to the customer as STi built cars. That way it avoids the 280ps rule.
